The Renray Elite 4000 is a very high risk pressure redistributing foam mattress, providing high levels of protection and comfort for your users. The precision, transverse-cut design conforms to body shape and reduces both interface pressure and friction. The channels within the foam allow greater air circulation which helps reduce skin maceration.
Pressure mapping takes place on our mattresses, pressure in different parts of the circulatory system varies. The accepted threshold for pressure mapping is 32mmHg but pressures as low as 12mmHg can cause problems and it is important to view a mattresses performance over a broader range of pressure thresholds. When we measured the Elite 4000, 87.9% of a 63kg female subject’s contact area was <32mm Hg.
