Charlton Lodge is the latest flag ship care home from leading care provider Care UK in the heart of Oxfordshire. They worked with us to design and supply beautiful furniture and furnishings that is also incredibly practical for the environment.
Charlton Lodges has 72 ensuite bedrooms as well as central communal areas and a mix of dining and café areas. Residents can enjoy a range of luxury facilities including a welcoming café, cinema room and hair and beauty salon.
The bedrooms are individually decorated with a private, en-suite wet room. Many ground floor rooms have their own patio doors, opening directly onto the landscaped and secure gardens.

Working closely with their talented designers, we developed new seating lines to support their interior vision:

Extended our Bennett range with a plush 2-seater sofa and a grand buttoned wing back high chair.
Introduced the Lisbon collection – a sumptuous design with a high buttoned back and padded arms for superior comfort.

The Kingsley chair: timeless for bedrooms, with bespoke Panaz Beech Leaf & C&L Santos Sage for style and postural support.

Carer and Serenity profiling beds were chosen to help repositioning while maintain a non-clinical feel. The bed can be raised to a practical nursing height, allowing carers to provide support comfortably. The fully upholstered headboard and surround create a soft, inviting look that blends seamlessly with the home’s refreshed interiors, with wider 4ft options enhancing resident comfort and carer accessibility.
Complementing the beds, we supplied Overbed Tables in a bespoke wood finish, carefully matched to create a coordinated, homely appearance in each bedroom. These practical yet stylish tables provide residents with a convenient surface for meals, drinks and personal items, supporting their independence.
The Elite pressure care mattresses complete the rooms at Charlton Lodge, featuring foam castellations for optimal pressure redistribution and a 4-way turn design that extends product life while reducing carer strain.
